Based
off the busy Alfreton Road in Radford,
Via Vaudeville! HQ is in the historic Thoroton
House. An old joinery building consisting of many units
used by mechanics, glass designers (Stuart
Ackroyd Design) and artist studios amongst many others.
We're only a 15 minute walk from Nottingham city
centre up Derby Road.
Detailed directions below if you're on foot:
From
Nottingham city centre (Market Square)
Head to the south/bottom of the square where Yates' Pub/Habitat
reside
Walk up Long Row West past the Old Bell Pub
on your left, passing Angel Row Gallery and Library and
straight up Chapel Bar Street with outside seating
and new bars
At the large roundabout cross Upper Parliament St.
in front of you and cross Tollhouse Hill after
that on your left, passing the front of IBM
Now carry straight up Derby Road passing many shops
including Celia's Fancy Dress
At the top of the hill (Canning Circus) at the
end of the block, cross over Wollaton St on the
right and go left past the newly renovated cemetery houses
Walk straight down onto Alfreton Road
Pass the kebab shops and newsagents, you'll pass 5 streets:
Cromwell St., Portland Rd., Raleigh St.*, Newdigate St.
Then you'll get to Thoroton Street, we're on the
right as you walk up.
*At the other end of Raleigh Street is All Saints Church, where
the May Event Evening Gig was held.
